I have included a before and after of a nesting doll set I have done recently.  First I sketch out a bunch of ideas in my sketch book, then I select which ones I like best.  Next I start out drawing in pencil the design I want on the doll.  Now I am ready to paint!  After the paint is dry, I outline and add details with a black marker.  The final stage is adding 3 or 4 coats of varnish to give the doll a protective glossy finish.

Mickey Mouse and the Gang

Disney's Mickey Mouse and the Gang! These were done for one of my neighbors! They turned out cute, considering Mickey Mouse is hard for me to do.

I have a hard time selling my work, I always wish I could keep it after it is done. But I am happy they went to a good home.

Child Friendly Nativity

I made this wooden peg nativity set for my kids this year around Christmas and it turned out great! It is very child friendly and they loved playing with it. The animals turned out so cute!

I love having a nativity the kids can play with and I don't have to worry about it getting broken.
